Terms of Service
Last updated 6 October 2026
These terms cover your use of ExpenseCatcher. By creating an account you agree to them.
The service
ExpenseCatcher gives you email addresses (“catchers”). Emails sent to them are read, and the steps you configure run — for example saving files to your Google Drive, adding rows to your Google Sheets, or forwarding to an address you choose.
Your account
- You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for activity under it.
- Keep your catch addresses private: anything sent to them is processed as yours.
- You must have the right to send us the documents you forward.
Acceptable use
Don’t use ExpenseCatcher to send spam, to forward content to people who haven’t agreed to receive it, to process illegal content, or to probe or overload the service. We may suspend catchers or accounts that do.
Extraction is automated
Receipt data is read automatically and can be wrong. Check important figures before relying on them; you can correct any catch in the app, and corrections are written back to your sheet. ExpenseCatcher is not accounting or tax advice.
Plans and limits
Each plan includes a number of catches per month, catchers and steps per catcher, shown on the pricing page. Emails beyond your monthly catches are recorded but not processed until the next month or an upgrade. We’ll give notice before changing the price of a plan you pay for.
Your data
You own your receipts and the files and sheets we write for you. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Availability and liability
We work to keep ExpenseCatcher running and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending
You can stop using ExpenseCatcher at any time and ask us to delete your account. Files already in your Google Drive stay where they are.
